Geocells
Synthetic three-dimensional honeycomb structures made of high-density polyethylene (or other polymers or combination of these) fused in the form of diamonds. Once the honeycombs are expanded to their maximum extension and filled with soil or gravel , they provide effective confinement for unconsolidated soils, preventing their movement even on steep slopes, or in the face of erosion.
